The 1U-profile FF-R/S4030 controller heads feature a maximum of 8 4G FC host channels and support up to 272 drives across drive-side dual-loops and the auxiliary SAS expansion channels. With the scalability to SATA JBODs, both secure and cost-effective storage can be achieved for companies managing high volumes of data transactions on reliable FC drives and second-tier capacity on SATA drives. The FF controller head is ideal for both high-throughput and I/O-intensive applications such as banking, telecommunications, and insurance.
